On Thursday, May 8, 2025, the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, received a special visit from Prof. Tim Pasang, Ph.D., who serves as Chair of the Department of Engineering Design, Manufacturing, and Management Systems, Western Michigan University. This visit is part of an effort to strengthen international relations and improve the quality of education and research in the field of mechanical engineering.

During the visit, Prof. Pasang toured the laboratories at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Universitas Trisakti, which are equipped with various facilities to support research and development in the field of engineering. He visited the Physical Metallurgy Laboratory and the Production Process Laboratory. Prof. Tim Pasang paid special attention to the potential for research and innovation that can be developed together.

In addition to the laboratory, Prof. Tim Pasang also visited the secretariat of the Mechanical Engineering Department, where he discussed with lecturers and staff about opportunities for further collaboration.
