When the Department of Education and Culture made changes to the higher education recognition system, the Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate Study Program underwent an accreditation process 5 (five) times. The accreditation and reaccreditation process is carried out every 5 (five) years by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) of the Ministry of Education. The results of the process are as follows:

  1. On August 11, 1998, the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Trisakti University succeeded in obtaining accreditation with an A rating with a decree No. 00432/Ak-I.1/UTCTRS/VIII/1998.
  2. On August 20, 2003, the Department of Mechanical Engineering managed to maintain its A-rank accreditation by decree No. 05782/Ak-V11-S1-020/UTCTRS/VIII/2003.
  3. On October 10, 2008, the Department of Mechanical Engineering again obtained accreditation A with the decision No. 024/BAN-PT/Ak-XI/S1/X/2008.
  4. On January 24, 2014, the Department of Mechanical Engineering again obtained accreditation A with decision No. 044/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/I/2014.
