Students majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti visited the Manufacturing Indonesia 2023 exhibition on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Students from the classes of 2021, 2022, and 2023, along with 3 supervisors attended the annual exhibition held at the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran. This visit itself is very important because the participating students can witness firsthand the development of the latest equipment and technology in manufacturing. They also had the opportunity to build networking in the industrial world because the participants and visitors were almost entirely local and foreign professionals.

At this exhibition, students saw the latest industrial products from 1,371 companies from 31 countries around the world. In addition, students can also visit INDOESTRI Pavilion, a special booth that displays the latest industrial products made by the nation’s children. The number of visitors to Manufacturing Indonesia 2023 itself, for this year is estimated at 35,000 people and has been named the largest gathering of industry professionals in Indonesia.

As quoted from its official website, Manufacturing Indonesia 2023 is the largest international Manufacturing, Machinery, Equipment, Materials, and Services exhibition in Indonesia. The exhibition serves as a professional business platform for Indonesia’s manufacturing industry, and this year is the 32nd in the series. With the theme “Towards Society 5.0”, this exhibition supports various efforts to accelerate sustainable development and paradigm transformation towards Society 5.0 in the manufacturing sector and industry 4.0. In addition to the exhibition, there are other interesting activities and programs related to the industrial world such as seminars, live product demos, student collaboration, and new programs namely Kaizen Clinic & Manufacturing Digital Hub.
