The Faculty of Industrial Technology at Universitas Trisakti and the Mechanical Engineering Study Program held a public lecture on Wednesday, February 21, 2024. Held in a hybrid format, this public lecture invited an international guest lecturer, Prof. Khadijeh Mohri, Ph.D., DIC, M.Eng. from Duisburg-Essen University, Germany. Meanwhile, the dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, S.T., M.Eng., I.P.M. acted as moderator and the head of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, Daisman Purnomo Bayyu Aji, S.T., Ph.D. as master of ceremony.

More than 165 participants registered for this event; most of them attended online, while the rest attended directly at the Trisakti Smart Classroom (TSC), in the Hery Hartanto Building, 7th floor, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti. Taking the theme “Three-Dimensional Tomographic Imaging of Flows in Energy and Process Technology”, Prof. Khadijeh Mohri, Ph.D., DIC, M.Eng. started her lecture at 14.30 WIB. In the lecture, Prof. Khadijeh Mohri, Ph.D., DIC, M.Eng. explained the various roles of three-dimensional tomographic technology in everyday life, one of which is in the health industry.

After the public lecture, the participants were also allowed to ask questions in the question-and-answer session. The participants seemed enthusiastic to explore various knowledge from Prof. Khadijeh Mohri, Ph.D., DIC, M.Eng. It is hoped that with this public lecture, participants who come from various circles such as students, lecturers, researchers, academics, and industrial practitioners will be able to gain new knowledge and apply it to the development of science and technology in Indonesia.
